Russell Davison shares his and wife Wendy’s nutrition for cancer journey with Justin Vee Liu.

Following Wendy’s diagnosis with stage 4 cervical cancer 12 years ago, Wendy was determined to avoid the ‘cancer conveyor belt’ and to take control of her own health.

They immersed themselves in research, learning all they could about the nutritional changes that would most support Wendy’s health and well being – extending Wendy’s life by at least 5 years.

Thank you to lovely Russell for talking about their experiences so openly.  Russell and Wendy genuinely expired us to take a natural healing approach with both our kids – we are blessed to have them as friends.

Taking on eczema and epilepsy with life changing results

We turned to diet to help our own children’s health with stunning results.

Applying gut healing GAPS diet protocols resolved our son’s red, raw chronic eczema. With the right foods and treatments his skin cleared up within 3 months and remained clear.

When our otherwise healthy daughter was diagnosed with a seizure condition, made worse by the heat in Western Australia, we researched and started her on the Modified Atkins Diet.  This incredible ketogenic diet drastically decreased her daily seizures within days and continued to over the next weeks and months.  Her sleep, balance and overall health improved too.  Her seizures are controlled by diet alone, quite an achievement from a disastrous health situation.

The keto diet has other benefits too; cognitive and brain function improvements and long lasting energy release.  This amazing low carb high fat diet is now used as treatment for wide ranging mental health, seizure and cancer conditions.  It is also the choice of elite athletes as part of their training.  Fascinating stuff!

Our personal and professional experiences have clearly shown the real power in nutrition.  The old adage ‘you are what you eat’ is true and our children’s longterm health is determined by the food they eat now.
